OUR DEAR LEADERS

Everyday we’re stumped by our leaders on the tube
Clamouring for wealth and positions in the government
Some thieving and slippery like lube
Courts finding no reasons to send the for some time
Out they come making us believe they are framed

Framed maybe they surely are
But why are they the ones falling into the trap
Or maybe they want to look for sympathy from the masses
Knowing most of us are gullible enough
To believe them even if we have our sincere doubts
That something is wrong but there is a cover up

Cover ups happening all along the walks of offices
Every case comes to an abrupt end
No evidence in every and each case that’s mentioned
Please who steals our billions every now and then
If  everybody prosecuted is innocent

So innocent are our dear leaders in offices
We cant lay an accusation to blame any one of them
Oh its vendetta against our tribe
Maybe its revenge against me for my stance in government
And like fools we believe and cheer them to rape our coffers

RIVERS OF TRUTH

When the times come to pass,
People rarely remember the class,
The class of the so called leaders,
Who treat their people like they are herders,
Believing its their right to lead however they like…

Some claim to be righteous,
But all over its pretence,
Pretending they are there for the people,
The people who toil and tire for their lives,
Bearing marks of scars and hives,

Who is to blame for this charade,
Who will come out for the poors parade,
Who will be the hero for these wananchi,
Who are laboring for the wenyenchi,
When will the salvation come to liberate them.
